Daphna Talgam has been a partner at Gornitzky & Co. since 1995 and serves as a member of the firm's executive committee. Ms. Talgam’s broad experience spans the various areas of practice of the firm. She specializes in corporate & commercial law with a particular focus on securities and public offerings, insurance, antitrust & competition law, environmental law and commercial transactions (both local and international).

Ms. Talgam received a Masters degree in comparative jurisprudence from the University of Texas in Austin where she focused in corporate and business law.

Ms. Talgam’s practice includes:

• Handling legal matters of securities law, IPOs, reorganizations, purchase offers and other issues relating to large public and private companies.
• Advising a public company in listing its securities on the stock exchanges in both Amsterdam and Tel Aviv.
• Representing a large Israeli insurance company in a merger process with another insurance company.
• Representing multiple international insurance companies and reinsurance companies in D&O insurance matters and also representing insurance companies in regulatory issues with the Supervisor of Insurance.
• Representing companies in environmental cases, including class actions, cleanup litigation and business licenses.
• Acting as corporate advisor to several Israeli private companies where she effectively serves as general counsel by handling all legal aspects of their business including commercial high tech agreements, licenses, distribution agreements, leases, loans etc.
• Advising clients on the antitrust consequence of M&A transactions, defending alleged cartels in civil litigation and counseling clients through the Antitrust Commissioner process.
• Representing companies in private real estate transactions and major projects.

Advocate Talgam acts as the pro bono coordinator for the firm including the participation of attorneys and interns in Tel Aviv pro bono organization, “Schar Mitzvah”.
